Madrid Gathering Promotes Dialogue and Diversity

Madrid gathered religious, cultural and social voices to highlight cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence. The event, promoted by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, focused on education, prevention and dialogue as tools against prejudice. The round table included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Human Rights Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers presented reflections from faith, culture and public service on how open dialogue can help build more inclusive communities.

Throughout the gathering, participants addressed themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when supported by education and dialogue.
